Create your estimate for solar, battery, or both
Once you've submitted address, and filled a short form, you'll be asked to draw a 'roof facet.' This is "one flat, measurable roof surface" - so each slope or part of your roof (you can draw multiple facets). After drawing, you need to select the direction that it faces, how steep the slope is, and how shaded it is.
Don't worry about being too precise - this is just an illustration to help you understand your options and start a conversation. You can always request a design from our team using our Classic request form.
